Glenn's Nature Photographs

    Glenn's Comments on His Pictures

The Groundhog was cleaning out its burrow entrance.  Since they don't have a shovel to use, the nose will do.

I also found the Canadian goose with the black collar on, again.      Since the collar has no number on it, I can't really say it's the same goose every time I see it.      I showed the picture to others down at Middle Creek and asked if they spotted it and the people, I talked with all said no.     I've seen it, or a few of them, 5 different days.      It's not very easy to spot, being black and on the black part of the neck.

Remember this swan from 9 Jan 2023.     I said I would like to get a picture of it sitting on the water to see how its neck is shaped.      Well, on 9 Feb 2023, a month later and having looked at probably hundreds of swans, I finally found it.     Its neck has the same wavy look to it when it's not flying.      Its neck is gray colored indicating it's a young swan from this past Spring so I'm sure it's the same swan.      Probably born that way.
