Spotted lanternfly lay egg masses on trees and other smooth outdoor surfaces such as outdoor furniture, campers, and grills. Spotted lanternfly will continue to lay egg masses until early winter. The egg masses are white when fresh and dry to a mud-like consistency.
To prevent large quantities of spotted lanternfly hatching in the spring, it is vital to check for egg masses and destroy them. If you find an egg mass, use a stiff card (similar to a credit card) or a putty knife to scrape the egg mass into a Ziploc bag or other disposable container. To ensure the eggs are destroyed, add rubbing alcohol or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Then, seal the bag or container and discard it.

Providing quality live entertainment in the Lebanon Valley since 1934, the Lebanon County Community Concert Association is one of the oldest community concert programs in the country.
The LCCCA Board members (all of whom serve voluntarily with no remuneration) assume responsibility for "back-stage" details: rental of the auditorium, printing of tickets, securing ushers, printing and distribution of advertising fliers, the transportation and housing of the artists, piano tuning, and so on. Sometimes the going is rough and there is lively discussion as to what artists to schedule, or what date to choose, but one thing has been constant through the years: the love of good music and the desire to bring to the community of Lebanon the joys of live music.
